The EVU-TK60 transformer is used with a 90Hz Butterworth 24dB/octave active high-pass filter inserted in the signal chain at the input to the driving amplifier. This filter protects the amplifier from damage caused by transformer saturation at low frequencies and allows any number of transformers to be driven on the same line, up to the rated power of the amplifier.

CAUTION: Failure to use the proper high-pass filter may result in damage to the amplifier.
