Grille with Ported Subplate (for 12" speaker Model 12Q250)

Lowell grille Model FW-12Q includes a specially engineered ported subplate for mounting Lowell's Consultant's Choice 12" speaker driver Model 12Q250 (250W) to Lowell large-volume DX Series acoustic backboxes. The square grille features an attractive, beveled edge steel frame with a fine perforated center.

Model FW-12Q grille is one-piece, 18-gauge, perforated steel with a ported subplate and mounting hardware. The grille features a 12.125" x 12.125" perforated area with a beveled edge frame for attractive ceiling integration. The grille is finished in Lowell's white powder epoxy paint for long lasting quality appearance. The ported subplate (included) is fabricated from 20-gauge steel and is finished with black powder epoxy paint. The subplate includes four ports and corrosion-resistant 8-32 x 1-1/2" screws and clinch nuts for mounting driver Model 12Q250 to Lowell's DX Series 12" speaker backboxes. This direct mount method provides solid support of the 26lb, 7oz driver allowing the non-loadbearing FW-12Q grille to mount using four 8-32 x 3/8" white screws.
