owell 4" grille Model CN-4M presents a clean appearance with a contoured edge and no visible hardware. It's an attractive solution when architectural specifications require ceiling speakers to be void of visible mounting hardware. The grille utilizes welded speaker studs and specially designed torsion brackets with springs to mount into torsion receptacles that are welded into specified Lowell backboxes (order separately). Grille is ideal for upscale offices, hotels, airports, retail, professional buildings, and dining establishments.

The outer ring of grille is precision formed from 20-gauge steel with a welded steel mesh center, an inner ring with speaker studs, and white powder epoxy finish for long lasting quality appearance. The four welded studs are 8-32 x 3/4" and are spaced to mount a standard 4" (EIA 5") driver using the palnuts provided. The grille also includes two easy-toinstall torsion bracket/spring devices that allow the speaker/grille assembly to mount into the torsion receptacles in specified Lowell backboxes instead of mounting the assembly using screws. Each torsion bracket installs to opposite speaker mounting studs with 8-32 nuts provided. Each torsion spring installs to one of four holes in the bracket with one shoulder bolt and clip provided. Versatile spring position on the bracket allows for easy depth adjustment in the field. Torsion assemblies are typically installed before the driver and will support a driver/transformer assembly weight up to 3.5 lbs.
