Lowell's C1830-870 20W speaker assembly is preferred by acoustical consultants and systems contractors for reliable performance with pre-packaged ordering and installation convenience. Theassemblyiscomprisedofan8"coaxialdriv- er with a wired 70V-8W tap transformer and mounted grille.

Speaker / transformer assembly is manufactured to assure consistent performance with clear intelligibility and wide dis- persion. The driver is a 20W coaxial assembly that includes separate and independent high and low frequency transducers with a built-in electrical crossover network to accomplish proper frequency selection between the two transducers. Frequency response is 50Hz-17.5kHz+6dB. Additionally, the loudspeaker's capacity to deliver a wide angle of sound distribution over a large area with uniform response and voice clarity ensures complete coverage with fewer units. Dispersion is 85 @ 2000Hz -6dB. To facilitate a variety of distributed applications each assembly includes a wired 70V transformer with 1, 2, 4, and 8W taps.

Architectural grille is precision-formed steel with an attrac- tive white finish to assure a clean presentation of the speak- er assembly. The speaker driver is factory mounted to the grille using concealed studs. White screws (4) are included for attaching the speaker/grille assembly to the backbox or tile bridge (order separately).

Companion backboxes and accessories for Lowell assem- bly Model C1830-870 are itemized on pages 1 and 2 to facilitate installation in a variety of applications. Selection includes recessed protective and acoustic backboxes with companion tile bridge or channel rail options (if required for suspended installa- tion).
