The AVP1 is a dual-gang wallplate mounted interface device that allows the line-level outputs of audio and video tape/cassette recorders, phonographs, etc. to be connected to microphone inputs of house P.A. systems. It is available on a brushed stainless steel or black anodized aluminum wallplate.

The Proco AVP-1 is a wall-mounted impedance matching unit with multiple audio inputs, designed for Audio/Video applications in school classrooms, lecture halls, and metting or conference rooms. The unit features a dedicated microphone input, a transformer-balanced, low-impedance barrier strip output, and a hum-canceling ground loop switch on the front panel.
