Last Thursday I called in a bit of a panic and spoke with Scott. The little cable from my guitar to my wireless transmitter had finally bit the dust (it actually lasted longer than I expected - it was not a quality piece).
I explained to Scott what I had and what I needed, but was not sure of the pin-out. I suggested that I could bring it in after work so he could do some reverse engineering and build me a new one. He said he'd be happy to take a look at it.
About 30 minutes later I realized that I had taken the cable out of my car the previous evening and would not be able to get it to Scott that night after all.
I called to let Scott know that it would be Friday evening before I could get the part to him - fully prepared to grovel because I needed the darn thing for a show on Saturday. When Scott answered, he told me he had done some research and already had found a wiring diagram for the cable I needed. AND that he had built it and had it for me in will call.
When I picked the cables (I told him to make me two so I would never find myself in this situation again) I was impressed by the upgrade over the OEM piece. The cable was thicker and more sturdy, the guitar jack was better, and the length was just what I asked for (a bit shorter than stock). And, most importantly, they work perfectly!
I wanted to reach out to let you know how impressed I was with the service Scott provided. I realize you guys move a lot of expensive equipment, and that I was definitely not the big sale of the day. But I was certainly not treated as if that were the case.
